Sermon Outlines for Busy Pastors: 40 Days of Prayer Sermon Series
Rekindle your church’s fire for prayer.
Throughout the Bible, God works through forties: forty days of rain, forty years in the wilderness, forty days on the mountain. Again and again the number marks a season set apart for God to move.
Sermon Outlines for Busy Pastors: 40 Days of Prayer is a seven-week sermon series — covering forty days — built to bring your church and yourself into a concentrated season of prayer. Each of the seven outlines is a complete message, rooted in God's Word, written from the notes I preach from in my own church. These are not bare points; the flow and the Scripture are opened up, ready for you to make your own.
Preach the series straight through for seven weeks of focused prayer, or use the outlines individually when your church needs a season of seeking the Lord. The series is also included in Volume 4 and Sermon Series Box Set 2. Every sermon title and Scripture reference is listed below.
